Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of products operated by BeepBoop Studios LLC ("BeepBoop", "we", "us"), including the Level: Adult app and the website at leveladult.app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Level: Adult is a gamified self-improvement app. Content is provided for educational and entertainment purposes only. It is not professional financial, medical, legal, or psychological advice. Always consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Subscriptions and payments

Premium features may be available through paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through your platform of purchase:

• Web: processed by Stripe.
• iOS: processed by Apple via the App Store.
• Android: processed by Google via Google Play.

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. Cancellation is managed in the same place you originally subscribed (Stripe customer portal, App Store subscriptions, or Google Play subscriptions).

4. Refunds

For web (Stripe) subscriptions, refunds are evaluated case-by-case — email support@leveladult.com within 14 days of purchase. App Store and Google Play refunds are governed by Apple's and Google's own refund policies — request through the platform you purchased on.

5. Acceptable use

Don't:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
• Attempt to access or interfere with other users' data.
• Use the service to violate any law or third-party right.
• Submit content that's illegal, harassing, or infringes someone else's IP.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. User content

You retain ownership of any content you submit (e.g. proof photos for quests). By submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive license to store, display, and process it solely to operate the service. We don't claim ownership of your content and won't sell it.

7. Our intellectual property

The app, course material, lesson text, characters, NPC designs, artwork, animations, UI/UX, branding, source code, and all other content ("BeepBoop Content") are owned by BeepBoop Studios LLC or its licensors and are protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the service for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

Without our prior written permission, you may not:

• copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, perform, or publish any BeepBoop Content, in whole or in part, including lesson text, character designs, NPC artwork, and UI elements;
• create derivative works based on the app or any BeepBoop Content;
• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, structure, or underlying ideas of the app;
• scrape, crawl, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the app or its API through automated means, or use the app's content to train any machine learning or AI model;
• use the app or any BeepBoop Content for any commercial purpose, including incorporating it into another product or service;
• remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices;
• use the BeepBoop, Level: Adult, or any related name, logo, or branding in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without our prior written consent.

Any unauthorized use terminates the licenses granted here and may result in account suspension, removal from the service, and legal action including DMCA takedown notices to hosting providers and app stores. We reserve all rights not expressly granted in these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific outcome will result from using it. Educational content reflects our best understanding but may contain inaccuracies — verify material decisions independently.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BeepBoop's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account inside the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or present a security risk.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Taylor County, Texas, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
